I wrote the lyrics for this track almost a year ago, in the middle of the night, when dealing with a rather severe bout of self doubt / imposter syndrome.

This last week or two I have been unpacking my self worth issues a lot, and after struggling to form a concept for a cover, I decided to instead try something wholly different. I had no concept for this song, outside of the lyrics and the 6/8 feel. I built it, brick by brick, track by track, with little idea of what the final product would become. Partially to see if I could pull it off. Partially because any planning beyond that was so laced with self-doubt that I couldn't bring myself to do anything but. This was a wholly different form of arranging, especially for a song with lyrics. Its closer to how I arranged many of the tracks from Duality.

I hope you enjoy it. I hope to pull together an album of songs similar to this, by the end of this year so keep an eye out!
